Why are writing and speaking not free as well?
Reading, listening and grammar are marked against an answer key, which costs nothing to run. Writing and speaking are assessed by AI against the official criteria, and every assessment has a real cost. Coins pass that cost through instead of spreading it across a subscription everyone pays.
Are coins a currency I can cash out?
No. Coins are prepaid access credits for exercises inside the simulator. They cannot be transferred or exchanged for money.
What happens if an AI assessment fails?
The coins are returned to your account automatically. You are only charged for an assessment you actually receive.
Can I get a refund?
Consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Because coins give immediate access to a digital service, that right ends early once you expressly agree to immediate access and confirm you understand you lose it. Coins already spent on a completed assessment are not refundable. See the Right of withdrawal page for the exact conditions.
